an Emergency/Star Trek Voyager Crossover Story

Text File for the Visually Impaired.

Four men.

( A falling waterfall in soft daylight. Animated.)

Alone in the wilderness.

( A pine forest ridge still shot in sunlight.)

(Roy and Johnny, camping by their rover, looking up
into the sky in surprise in the mountains.)

Tied mysteriously together by circumstances..

And a wonderous future heritage.

(Shots of Chakotay sitting crosslegged in his starship 
quarters, meditating with his Chamoosay stone.)

Gage's hand tracing its lines.)

(A slow zoom showing a grinning Johnny in paisley.)

A journey...
From what they are today,

(Shot of Roy and Johnny riding horses in western shirts
and sunglasses.)

To what they might become...
In a far distant tomorrow.

(Chakotay looking out the window in the Delta Flier
at an approaching Borg cube ship.)

*Red Alert noise*
Borg voices- "Resistance is futile."

(A Borg ship firing down onto an Earth of the past.)

(Chakotay frantically tearing wires from a computer panel.
And toggling control pads that aren't working.)

*Hull Breach Klaxon*
Chakotay- "Computer, damage report!"

Shuttle Computer Voice-"One minute to autodestruct."

(Tom Paris looking up from the Flier's flight chair, worried.)

(An animated rotating blue wormhole.)

(Animation. Failing energy flux computer display.)

(The approaching Nexus time ribbon, on fire.)

Shuttle Computer Voice-"Warning, life support failure on all decks.
Abandon ship."

(Chakotay and Tom Paris ducking as their helm controls explode
and the Delta Flier begins to fall into Earth's orbit, out of
control. )

(The Delta Flier crashing on winter ice, and skidding near a thawing
pond of summer time waters. And coming to rest in the pine mountains,
charred but intact.)

(Voyager, the starship, in outer space, moves away from the wormhole
Tom and Chakotay used to escape the Borg and move to confront them
inside a fiery yellow orange nebula.)

(Shots of Voyager staring down the maw of a Borg Cube on the hunt.
Opening fire with animated photons and green phasers, trying to hold
off the Borg on her own.)

*Ship's Computer voice* "Warning. Self destruct sequence has been initiated."

(Shots of Voyager blowing up all pursuing Borg Cubes, but at the cost of
her own hull integrity. In the resulting annihilation, Voyager accidently
self destructs and is destroyed in a bright white hot nimbus of fire.)

Two are hunted because of who they are.

(Tom Paris catching a wounded Chakotay right in front of a surprised Gage
in the middle of nowhere, in the woods.)

(A slow zoom in of Roy and Johnny treating an unconscious Chakotay with
oxygen amid green ferns.)

Can they survive with help from the past?

(Johnny Gage fireman's carrying Chakotay, who's wearing jeans
under his Voyager's red top.)

(Tom Paris in Voyager red, in closeup, looking down, worried.)

(Gage leaning over a failing Chakotay, reaching for his face.)

*Handy Talkie Beeps*
Sam Lanier the dispatcher-"Squad 51. Stand by for response."

(Views of a yellow drugs knapsack and Johnny preparing an injection
and using it through an I.V. port.)

(A view of an ambu bag. A non breathing Chakotay being ventilated on it.)

By their skills.

Tom Paris- "I'm a pilot! Not a doctor!"

(A medical tricorder and shuttle medical equipment. Being spread out.
Being used to operate on Chakotay's wounds. Including a hypospray
in Tom's hand.)


(Tom Paris looking dismayed in the woods, wearing a Hawaiian shirt.)

(The object of Tom's frustration. A broken EMH program, flickering on and off.
Animation.)

And through their only common ground.
An unshakable hope for all life on Earth.

(View of a tended Chakotay, wrapped up in a sleeping bag

(Tom Paris fiddling with his combadge inner workings with a tool.)

(Roy using a Trek augmented HT to call for help for Chakotay.)

Two teams of red helmeted park rangers and black helmeted LACoFD firefighters carrying
stokes down a mountain slope.)

(A very thoughtful Johnny Gage in bed, eyeing up his mysterious future ancestor, 
Chakotay, through an animated burning fire, who is watching him with gentle patience.)
