EVERY FIFTEEN MINUTES

Someone in the United States dies
as a result of an alcohol related traffic accident.

On Wednesday,
      January 12, 2005


Canyon High School participated in an
event to teach students about the tragedy of
drunk driving and who it affects. A total of
twenty students and two teachers  "died" as
part of a simulated car crash caused by drunk
driving.  The drunk driver survived with only
minor injuries while the injured students, then
families,  and local first responders shared the
horror of this senseless crime.

On Wednesday,
      January 12, 2005


The driver was arrested and sent to jail knowing that because of her poor decision, she was responsible for killing innocent people and forever changing the lives of many more.
